  • 22/04/2016 A message from our Treasurer: As those of you who were at the club over the last weekend will know, members of SRC along with family and friends successfully completed a 24 hour "rowathon", which was organised by the Junior Captains, Chelsea Armstrong and Will Mahoney, to raise money for our Boat Fund and for Rowan's Hospice.   • Following a successful weekend at Hastings and CARA Regattas,  I am very pleased to announce that the Ladies Junior B crew have won the CARA Ladies Junior Championship and will represent the association in the South Coast Championships on September 12th.  The crew consisting of Georgie Smith, Rebecca Hoxey, Abbie Hollis, Chelsea Armstrong, Amy Hollis and mostly coxed by Paul Hollis won two novice...   • Southsea had an excellent racing weekend with three novice wins and strong performances from all crews. The men’s novice crew picked up a win on Saturday at Woolston and again at Brighton on Sunday. The ladies novices picked up a third place at Woolston, and a win at Brighton.   • Here is more good news for junior members of Southsea Rowing Club. Recently, we were awarded a grant of £9,680 from Sport England towards our project to increase our membership of junior (age 15–18) rowers.
